- May 20, 2010: State Route 160 Subject to Delays
Sacramento County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces that beginning Monday, May 24 through Thursday, May 27 a contractor will repair the damaged roadway just north of the Antioch Bridge. One-way traffic controls on this 1.5 mile stretch of highway will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- May 20, 2010: SR 12 Night Work Extended
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, has extended this week's one-way traffic control operation to Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 between Lambie Road and State Route 113 to continue working on the State Route 12 Safety Improvement Project. These lane closures will take place from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- May 18, 2010: State Route 12 Night Work Scheduled
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, has scheduled one-way traffic control Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19 between Lambie Road and Olsen Road to continue working on the State Route 12 Safety Improvement Project. These lane closures will take place from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- December 8, 2009: Lane Closures on Interstate 80 in Vacaville Postponed
SOLANO COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has postponed the scheduled lane closures on Interstate 80 in Vacaville at the Mason Street Undercrossing (bridge) due to inclement weather. The lane closures will allow crews to perform repair work to the Mason Street Undercrossing. There will also be lane and sidewalk closures on northbound Mason Street (local city street).
- March 2, 2009: Unsettled Weather Delays SR 12 Channelizer Replacements
SOLANO COUNTY - A Pacific storm system that is forecast to bring rain and high elevation snow to northern California through Tuesday has prompted the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to reschedule this week's replacement of center line channelizer posts on State Route 12 in Solano County. Installation of the channelizer posts, which delineate driving lanes with bright colors, is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on both days.
- February 26, 2009: Traffic Control Scheduled on State Route 12 in Rio Vista and Suisun City
SOLANO COUNTY - Weather permitting, the California Department of Transportation
(Caltrans) has scheduled two days of traffic control in March, 2009 to replace center line
channelizers on State Route 12 in Solano County.
- February 18, 2009: Detours Scheduled on Highway 113 in Dixon
SOLANO COUNTY - Traffic through State Route 113 in Dixon should expect delays on Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20 because of a detour around maintenance work scheduled at the railroad crossing on SR-113 and 1st Street.
- December 19, 2008: Rio Vista Ferries Scheduled for Dry-Dock Service
Solano - Beginning at 3 P.M. on January 12, 2009 the California Department of Transportation
(Caltrans) plans a full suspension of service on the Real McCoy (Cache Slough Ferry). The ferry
provides non-stop service from State Route 84 in Rio Vista to Ryer Island in Solano County.
- November 14, 2008: Caltrans to fix slabs on Interstate 80
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has
announced that some sections of Interstate 80 in the Fairfield area will undergo repair
work next week. During the repair work, which will require closure of 3 lanes at various times during the
week, Caltrans will fix failed concrete slabs on the roadway.
- November 7, 2008: Closures planned for Highway 12 (Jameson Canyon)
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
announces the following closures for State Route 12 (Jameson Canyon Road.)
- November 6, 2008: Caltrans Completes Replacement of Channelizers on SR 12
SOLANO - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced today that it has completed replacement of damaged channelizer posts on State Route 12 one day ahead of schedule.
- October 28, 2008: Traffic Control on SR 12 between Denverton Rd. and Drouin Dr.
SOLANO - In an ongoing effort to improve safety along State Route 12 in Solano County, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled five days of traffic control to enable crews to replace damaged channelizer posts on that route, weather permitting.
The traffic control between 9:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m. will be from Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 7, 2008.
- October 28, 2008: State Route 37 One-Way Traffic Control
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct pothole repair work on State Route 37 in Solano County on Wednesday, October 29.
The maintenance work scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. will require one-way traffic control. Traffic on SR-37 between Walnut Road (Mare Island) and Highway 121 will experience delays of up to 20 minutes during this period.
- October 24, 2008: Caltrans schedules ramp closures on Interstate 80
Solano County - From Monday, October 27 to Friday, October 31, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled several ramp closures on Interstate 80 in Solano County.
Most of the closures will be from dusk to dawn with limited impact for eastbound and westbound traffic on I-80 between the I-80/680 Interchange and the American Canyon Road overcrossing.
- October 23, 2008: Three Nights of Full Closures at Highway 12 (Jameson Canyon)
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close State Route 12 (Jameson Canyon Road) in both directions for three nights next week. The closures will be from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. on the nights of Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 29.
- October 17, 2008: Westbound Highway 12 Closure from the I-80 Connector
Solano County - Beginning on Monday, October 20 the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans eight nights of lane closures for westbound State Route 12 (Jameson Canyon Road.) The closures are from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m on each night and will extend from the I-80 connector with SR-12 to a mile west of Red Top Road.
- October 16, 2008: Caltrans preps Solano roadways for winter season
Solano County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct emergency maintenance work on I-80 and SR 12 in Solano County next week.
- July 17, 2008: Sunset Avenue Closes 2 Lanes for 6-month Construction Project
Crews will restripe Sunset Avenue north of Railroad Avenue on Friday in preparation
for a six-month construction project to improve traffic flow on this major entrance to Suisun City and install new safety enhancements ordered by the City Council at the railroad crossing.
