The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) serves as the congestion management agency for Solano County and is responsible for coordinating countywide transportation plans, programs and projects under a Joint Powers Authority among the Cities and County of Solano. The agency also manages the rideshare programs for Napa and Solano Counties, and allocates various federal, state and regional transportation funds.

- Community-Based Transportation Plan for Vacaville
The STA is requesting proposals for the services of a Transportation
Planning Consultant for Community-Based Transportation Plans in Vacaville. The STA intends to retain a qualified and committed professional transportation planning firm/team to
provide services required to facilitate community meetings, and develop Community-Based
Transportation Plans (CBTP) for the MTC designated areas in the Vacaville community. The selected
consultant will work closely with the STA staff, stakeholders and the SolanoExpress Transit
Consortium.

The tasks and timelines are identified in the RFP Scope of Work. The RFP describes the project, presents the requirements of the proposal and outlines the criteria that will be used to evaluate the proposals.

The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) invites your firm to submit a proposal for the I-80 Express Lanes from Air Base Parkway to I-505 in Solano County.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) are interested in initiating the I-80 Express Lanes Projects. For more information regarding MTC's Express Lane Efforts, please visit MTC's Regional Express Lanes and Carpool Lanes webpage.
