Napa County Emergency Ride Home Program

Eligibility

  • Participants must register in order to participate in this program.

  • Employers must be located in Napa County.

  • Employees must live within 100 miles of their worksite.

  • Employees must use alternative transportation (carpool, vanpool, bus, ferry, bike walk) regularly and must have used it on the day the Emergency Ride Home is used.

 

Participation is Easy and Free!

All employers with work locations in Napa County are eligible.


Employers simply:

  1. Submit an employer registration form or by calling 1-800-53-KMUTE.

  2. Appoint a contact person to help answer questions and distribute information and promote the program in the workplace, keep “instant enrollment forms” on hand and assist with an annual program evaluation.

Employees who work in Napa County and live within 100 miles of the worksite may use the service.

Employees simply:

  1. Verify that your employer has registered with the program or ask us to contact your employer by sending us an email (commuterinfo@sta-snci.com) or calling 1-800-53-KMUTE.

  2. Complete and submit the employee registration form and liability waiver, available here. We will then mail you a voucher and list of approved taxi and rental car companies that you can use for an emergency ride home.

  3. Abide by all program rules and restrictions.
